Flexibility refers to your ability to see the interactions between all of the facets involved in the sale of your Saline home. It’s the opposite (of course) of being rigid about one (or many) aspect of the home-selling process.
For example, we’ve all heard the phrase “time is money” – when it comes to selling your home, that’s especially true – in a couple of ways.
First, your ability to be flexible with the selling price, and the possession date you give, can make the difference between selling, or not. If you really need a certain possession date before you move, and the buyers can give you that date, perhaps you can give up a little bit on price to the buyers?
Second, if you remain rigid about some (or all) aspects of the sale of your home, it’s probable that you’ll be on the market for a LONG TIME – unless you find that particular buyer who is willing to meet all of your criteria. Trust me on this, after having been in the business of home sales since 1994 – those buyers are RARE! The longer you wait to find that particular buyer, the less your proceeds are worth when you finally get them.
The bottom line?
Your home-selling process is likely to be successful in direct relation to your flexibility to adjust to the demands of buyers in the marketplace.
