Saline Real Estate and Homes for Sale

When shopping for a home, most buyers have a budget, so they are interested in Saline homes  in their price range.  (Original article by Vance Shutes).  Let's take a look today at an updated view of the distribution of Saline homes for sale by price range.

This chart shows the percentage of homes in each price range.  The percentages relate to a total of 205 Saline homes for sale at this time (down from 249 the last time we looked at this chart).  Today, we see the "bell-shaped" curve of a "normal" distribution of Saline homes for sale.

The largest group of Saline homes for sale at this time is in the $200-250,000 price range.  These homes are the bedrock of the Saline community, so you'd expect to see more of them for sale than in any other price range. 

In light of the clock ticking on the $8000 first-time home buyer tax credit, it's somewhat disconcerting that there are so few homes in the under-$150,000 price range (still only about 6% of the total market for Saline homes).  If you're looking in this price range, be prepared for lots of competition to purchase these homes!

Then again, if you're looking in one of the two predominant groupings of homes, you've got plenty to choose from!

And if you're looking at the really expensive homes in Saline, you might be disappointed to find that there are only three homes listed for sale at prices above $1,000,000.
