Leave a comment » Saline Sales report for March 2009The market for homes in Saline improves again!Here's the latest Saline Sales report for March 2009. This is an update to my regular market report which I report around the middle of the month. If you are interested in Saline real estate, here's what happened in March 2009. Selling Prices Saline Homes Active Sold Lowest Highest Months of Supply City of Saline 81 4 $115,555 $270,000 20.3 Lodi Township 51 5 $100,000 $512,000 10.2 Pittsfield Township 61 1 $333,200 $333,200 61 Saline Township 20 0 $-- $-- -- York Township 36 5 $140,800 $340,000 7.2 Average 16.6 The average months of supply for Saline homes in March improved from 18.5 months in February. The number of homes sold improved by 15% (from 13 in February to 15 in March). At the same time, the number of homes available for sale rose only 4% (from 240 in February to 249 in March). The combination of a slowing in supply with an increase in sales led to the improved months of supply, and is to be expected in the early Spring market. Now, let's look at Saline condos. Selling Prices Saline Condos Active Sold Lowest Highest Months of Supply City of Saline 25 0 -- -- -- Lodi Township 6 0 -- -- -- Pittsfield Township 9 0 -- -- -- Saline Township 1 0 -- -- -- York Township 0 0 -- -- -- Average -- Double Uh oh. There were no sales of Saline condos in March, after none in February. If you're looking to buy a condo in Saline, you've got 41 condos to choose from, and NO competition from other buyers. On the other hand, if you've got a condo in Saline to sell, you might want to consider leasing it instead. There are plenty of good tenants out there looking to live in Saline.
