Saline Real Estate and Homes for Sale

When you first start out thinking about a Saline home or condo, one of the best uses of your time is to draw up a list of your Wants and Needs.

What's the difference, you ask?

A want is something that you'd really like to have in your Saline home or condo, but it's not absolutely essential.  A need is something that is absolutely essential, something that you just can't live without.

For example, consider bedrooms.  You really want a 4-bedroom home - the master bedroom for you and your spouse, one bedroom each for your two children, and the fourth bedroom as your "study" (more on that in a future article).   You need three bedrooms, as your son and daughter won't be sharing a bedroom, and you can set up your study in the basement.

As another example, you have two cars, plus a third car for your high-school-age child living at home.  You really want a 3-car garage for all the cars, but it's not essential.  Your child can always start their car early on winter mornings and scrape off the frost before heading off to school.  So you want a 3-car garage, but you need a 2-car garage.

When we start looking at a Saline home or condo for you, we'll start out by seeing whether we can find something that satisfies all of your wants, including (especially) price.  Hopefully we find many, many properties to choose from.  But if we don't, we'll work backwards by switching some of your wants to those absolutely-essential needs, until we find enough properties to consider.
